To share love, healing, hope and peace to others in order to assist them to follow the true path of their souls' sacred journey.

Personal Bio                            

My name is Roak Citroen and I am a CRA registered Reiki Master Practitioner and have my own city-licensed practice in Burnaby, B.C.  My clients come from all over the Lower Mainland: Vancouver, North Vancouver, New Westminster, Richmond, Surrey, Coquitlam and beyond. In addition to my private practice, I have volunteered with my energy partner Barb Weston, and worked in an Extended Care Home practicing Reiki and Therapeutic Touch. With this effort we were able to bring some sunshine to the elderly patients and the overworked staff. Unfortunately the home was closed during cutbacks in late 2003. Currently I volunteer my time working with AIDS and drug abuse persons.

My birth took place November 22, 1934 in Indonesia. The stars on that date were most favorable to indicate natural healing abilities. Our family moved to the Netherlands to insure the children would receive a proper education. My mother, who was my first teacher, was extremely sensitive to all positive energy and taught me that I was a very special child, and encouraged me to use my intuition, creativity and spirituality. She also taught me to never try to control the life force, rather facilitating it.  My mothers also gave me the ability to focus energy on people, plants and animals, in short, all of nature.

In the sixties and seventies many great teachers crossed my path such as Norma Cowie and Sandy Hughes. They taught me to focus and use my intuition to reaf and feel and also not to be afraid of my natural abilities. During that time I practiced "hands on healing" helping several very ill friends "recharge their batteries" (their words.)

In the nineties I read an article about the healing powers of Reiki and research on the Internet led me to my first Reiki teacher, Master/Teacher Rick Rivard. With Rick I studied all four levels of Usui and Threshold Reiki. My studies continue today with Master/Teacher Barbara Hudson. Currently I am studying Advanced Unified Healing Modules, and completed my master level in the Unified System of Reiki.

To fulfill the desire to volunteer my services in hospitals, I learned Therapeutic Touch, a more widely accepted modality and have completed level 1, 2 and Special and Geriatric care. Other completed studies include; Ascentia, Light Body, Circles of Life and Ear Candling.
